January: Sleep No More by Susan Crandall
Abby Whimore's struggles with a sleeping disorder unravel when she's involved in a deadly accident, and can't remember if she was sleepwalking at the time, or not--and now, with a break-in, and vandalism, and strange midnight calls, she sure feels like someone's out to get her. It takes Dr. Jason Coble's help to unravel the mystery. What's going on here, you'll have to read it to find out!

October: Lady of Light and Shadows by C.L. Wilson continues the Tairen Soul series and sees Ellysetta in the days before her marriage to Rain dealing with terrible nightmares, with Exorcists taking an interest in her,and of course, more trouble from the Mages. But now, the terrible secret of Elly's birth is about to be revealed... one that just might put Rain's love for her in severe jeopardy!

September: Lord of the Fading Lands by C.L. Wilson
Rain Tairen Soul, king of the Fae, must find a way to save his people and the Tairen he protects while convincing the humans that can't trust the Mages, the enemy in a war his people fought a milennium ago. If that task wasn't monumental enough, he must even convince a young weaver's daughter (not to mention her family) that she is his fated Truemate, destined to become queen of the Fae, and try to protect her from the dastardly plotting of the Mages, and the greedy butcher's son who had his eye on her, before Rain showed up. An excellent, thrilling tale, and though it is shelved in Romance, I think it is one of the best Fantasy novels I've read in a long time!

July 27: Between Light and Dark by Elissa Wilds
With Earth about to be overrun by demons, one woman has to come to terms with her magickal legacy, and accept the love of a god, and magickal instruction of which she is sorely in need, or all on Earth shall suffer for it.
Part Charmed, part Alice Hoffman, part Hitchcock, Elissa Wilds' first novel Between Light and Dark is a delightful read, and I look forward to getting my hands on the sequel Darkness Rising! I think lovers of Paranormal Romance should enjoy this.

July 8: Hot Flash by Kathy Carmichael
Jill Morgan Storm has recently divorced her husband, who has become a woman, and now has a big problem: her son is looking at college, but her salary as a sous chef will not bear the wait of college's hefty price. So Jill and her friends hatch a plan; Jill will send out marriage surveys to women in the local area and take whatever advice they give, for finding herself the perfect husband. With her son's nosy eighth grade art teacher hanging around, though, jumping back into the dating pool might get a bit--ahem--hairy. This is a hilarious little novel of life on the downside of forty. Will Jill find the perfect mate? Will she survive the pre-date rituals? (The most hilarious scene in the book, gals. ;)) You'll have to read to find out!

Kiss of the Phantom by Julie Leto
A Romani gypsy cursed into a gem, buried for centuries in a forgotten German village; the gem is recovered, modern day, by an interpid, pretty treasure hunter, who has no idea what she's in for in keeping the precious little gem, as the man inside the gem emerges and takes her on a wild journey that will ultimately free him, and lead her to love.
