Edith Wharton
1862-1937

Edith Wharton is just one of an ever-cirling obsession of your humble webmistress. We had been briefly introduced to her work, way back in our college days; but unfortunately, we never made it to her oeuvre. As luck would have it, we happened to stumble across the film version of her novel The Age of Innocence, and further, an article on her home in New York, the Mount, and were brought back again to her work, almost as if by some widely circling Muse. ;) We simply had to look into her, and picked up our copy of House of Mirth, from the bottom of the abandoned book bag. From there, it was love; what can we say? :) though our work keeps us from the bookcases, very often, we peek, now and again into her works, and life, and to those around her. Here then, is just a smattering of the materials we enjoy, concerning the talented Mrs. Wharton.
