Vampires in pop culture

Small-Screen Vampires
The Munsters
The Munsters was a great little comedy that ran from 1960-1964 and has since seen many happy years of syndication. The Munsters family was diverse, in ... shall we say species, featuring a monstrous (and tragically dim-witted ;)) Frankenstein-like father, a pre-teen/teen son who was a werewolf, and a thoroughly normal neice; but the focus here, of course, is on, the two vampiric characters, ever the favorites of yours truly, Grandpa and Lily! :) There's whisperings, so I hear, of a Munsters movie starring the Wayan Brothers (huh?). We shall see... Anyway, for more info on this crazy classic, check out the following.

Buffy the Vampire-Slayer
Now, I must admit, I am not the greatest of Buffy fans, but I do like the tv show, better than the original movie; and though I don't actively seek it out, I have enjoyed their weekly antics now and again. I find Willow to be my favorite character (shocked, aren't you?), so she adds to the interest. Anywho, if you're curious about Buffy, check out these great tributes.

Another Realm
This is my favorite Buffy site... and she covers several other great shows, too (Charmed, for instance). Check it out. You will not be disappointed! :)

Lizzie Lake's Buffy the Vampire Slayer pages
Another good site...

A Slayer's Heart
and another...

The Watcher's Zone
This is my favorite, and thoroughly covers the Buffy Universe, as well as a few other corresponding serieses--like Highlander. :)

XanderGrrl's Sunnydale
and yet another good Buffy site.

Enjoy! More to come...
