Importance is RelevantYes, I do think of things other than books, writing, and mythology. :) here, then are a few other very important links, to a few other very important issues I consider worthwhile. Some of these sites are by friends, some are not. Nonetheless, enjoy.
Horses
My alter-ego always wanted one but was never able to afford it, in any capacity. Still, they are noble animals, and education is always a good thing. The following are some interesting, fine sites on this noble animal. Read on and enjoy...

Cats.
Cute and cuddly things, but as every city dweller knows, there's thousands of stray cats out there. We were, at one time, a multiple cat home, but haven't had any ourselves, for years. Nonetheless, our neighborhood seems a magnate for the poor strays and have again caused us to worry ourselves over the darling species. For various reasons we ourselves can't play host to these adorably fickle creatures, but if any of our visitors and supporters can, we encourage it. Adopt them, care for them, and by all means spay or neuter them. The more loving homes can support the darlings, the better. :)

Dogs:
And then, of course, there are the canines. :)I guess I'm actually more of a dog person--my family has had so many, throughout our lives. There was, my French poodle who passed on decades ago; our first mutts, who have also long since passed on; there was a lovely orange Saint Bernard-German Shepard mix and her brood (and when I say brood, I mean many, many dear pups she gave us). Then there was our little pit bull; and a little golden furred pit bull mix we inherited from a friend. :) He was a sweet boy who loved, for some reason, tennis balls. He passed on not too many years back, and has been succeeded in the Raven Queen's family by an overwhelming cute and energetic true blood mutt. :) They all stay at the elder Father King's house, and are always a joy to visit. :)
*sigh* So, for all you canine lovers out there, here are just a few fantastic dog lovers sites:
